With most COVID-19 prevention protocols still intact around the world, there isn’t a whole lot to do this summer that is completely safe. However, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything meaningful to be done. Students are always looking for ways to make a quick buck, and with all this time indoors, now is the perfect time. Here are some great ways to utilize your skills this summer to make some money:
Become a ghostwriter:
For those who excel at writing, ghostwriting is an excellent way to make money online. A ghostwriter authors articles, stories, or other literary works which are accredited to a different author. Sites such as Upwork and Freedom with Writing offer an array of opportunities, from short articles to larger projects. These jobs are usually one-time deals, making it a quick and easy way to make money on your own time.
Start an online business:
Nowadays, there are tons of ways to build a business from your own bedroom. Artists and photographers can sell their work on sites like Redbubble which allow people to sell their work on everything from stickers to sweatshirts. Additionally, for the crafters out there, starting an Etsy shop is a great way to get your products out into the world.
Sell your old clothes:
For those of us who are rather terrible at art, selling old clothes is a great and sustainable way to make some money. Sites such as Depop and Ebay have become extremely popular amongst people looking to buy clothes cheaper than retail prices or those who are aiming to shop more ethically.
Become a tutor on PEERSedu:
Those who speak another language fluently, or excel at math or science would make easy money on PEERS edu. The app allows tutors to set their own prices and tutor others via video chat, which is perfect for our new socially distanced reality. Students are charged by the minute and tutors are able to set their own hours, which makes it an extremely flexible way to make some extra cash.
We’re all stuck at home, we might as well make the most of it. There are endless possibilities when it comes to making money online, what would you do with the extra cash?
